Nestled in the heart of Batu Kawan, Pitstop Borealis Cafe offers a delightful retreat for both locals and travelers seeking to savor a unique blend of Malaysian and Western cuisine. Located at 7G Jalan Borealis 3, this charming cafe has quickly gained a reputation for its mouth-watering dishes and inviting atmosphere.

As you walk through the doors, the aroma of grilled meats and spices fills the air, immediately awakening your appetite. The interior of the cafe strikes a perfect balance between cozy and modern, making it an ideal spot for casual dining or a relaxed coffee break with friends.

Popular among regulars, the culinary offerings at Pitstop Borealis Cafe are varied and delectable. Start your gastronomic journey with their Nasi Ayam Penyet, a tantalizing dish at just MYR 14.90, where perfectly cooked chicken rests atop a bed of aromatic rice, accompanied by a delicious sambal that packs just the right amount of heat. If you're in the mood for something grilled, don’t miss their Chicken Oriental (MYR 18.90), renowned for its juicy tenderness and rich flavor.

For meat lovers, the Sate Daging (5 pieces for MYR 10.50) is simply irresistible; the skewered beef is marinated to perfection and grilled to a charred finish that complements its natural juices. And what cafe experience would be complete without pasta? The Spaghetti and Meatballs (MYR 14.90) is a hearty plate, with generous portions and a rich, savory sauce.

Don't forget to indulge your sweet tooth with their signature Chocbanana Smoothies (MYR 15.90), a creamy blend that’s a perfect balance of rich chocolate and fresh bananas, making it a refreshing end to your meal.

From the glowing reviews, it’s clear that customers appreciate not just the food but also the warm service. One customer, Izzahn Mrazali, noted how the varied menu includes not just Malaysian staples but also Western delights, highlighting the cafe's versatility. Despite peak hours leading to some menu items being sold out, his experience reinforced the need to return for more. Another patron, yj lo, raved about the Nasi Arab, describing its well-marinated, juicy chicken that is grilled to perfection—a true testament to the culinary expertise at Pitstop Borealis Cafe.

While a few reviews mention that service can be a tad slower during busy times, it’s worth noting that the food is lovingly prepared from scratch, ensuring quality over speed. Joanne Heng praised the authenticity of the Nasi Arab Ayam while appreciating the genuine cooking process, a rarity in today’s fast-paced food scene.

In conclusion, Pitstop Borealis Cafe is more than just a place to grab a bite; it’s a culinary experience that delights the senses and nurtures the spirit of camaraderie. With a diverse menu and an atmosphere that feels like home, it’s a must-visit for anyone in Batu Kawan looking to enjoy good food in a welcoming space. Make sure to pay a visit—your taste buds will thank you!

Menu ranges from malay dishes like nasi ayam bakar n nasi ayam penyet, western food like chiken grill, spaghetti and lamb chop. Desserts are available as well. Everything was really good but because we came on a busy day when they received so many takeaway orders so a lot of the menu was finished. So only managed to try a few dishes but still they were delicious. Need to come back to try more dishes. Service was fast and staffs were friendly. Limited seating and usually full during lunchhour.

The nasi ayam Arab is amazing. 1/4 chicken per serving, well marinated and finely grilled, just nice. The meat very juicy & tender.

Went there last week. The staff is polite and friendly. A bit slow in serving the food after ordering though. But Rojak is good surprisingly.

Ordered nasi arab ayam. And it's delicious! Authentic also! But the boss look like not in good mood. Duno what happened. The time taken for the food to be served is around 15 min. It is acceptable. Because they really cooked the food. Not like some other cafe which only heated up online bought frozen chicken chop. 5 stars!
